Boys Youth League

Augusta Lacrosse Club and East Georgia Youth Lacrosse are excited to announce a formal partnership!

What was once a friendly cooperative is now an official partnership, as Augusta Lacrosse Club and East Georgia Youth Lacrosse have agreed to merge together. Bringing all local Youth Lacrosse operations together under one umbrella.

What does this mean? 

All Boys & Girls Youth Lacrosse Rec programs (Evans, Greenbrier, Grovetown-Harlem, and Lakeside) will now fall under the Augusta Lacrosse Club brand. This will allow players and coaches of every level, and from any association, to fully participate in the correct age group, without the added burden and stresses of trying to organize enough players to roster a full team within their branch. Teams will be organized for optimal competition, allowing our area to continue developing within itself. We see this as taking the next step towards ALC's goal of becoming a region that contends at the top level throughout the state of Georgia.

What does this change?

Ultimately, very little. All of the key leaders and stakeholders for the associations will remain in place and continue to provide the best possible opportunities for competition and development within this game we all love so much. While the seasonal schedule may see some changes from years past, everything is designed to provide as many lacrosse opportunities as possible for all players throughout the calendar year. This consolidation of resources also provides all local players with more access to high-level coaching, clinics, and many other components of ALC they might not have otherwise been exposed to previously.

Divisions will continue to use the standard EGYL structure, however 8th graders will now fall within the HS Division (More details on our HS programs to come):

While we are still working on the final details, below is our planned Fall Schedule.

All games and Workouts will be on Sunday Afternoons at the local school fields. The first four weeks will comprise of 1 hour full-gear Workouts for the youth players followed by our HS Sixes league. We invite the players and coaches to stick around those weeks to watch our older players competing in the back and forth, high-volume format designed to develop all the skills needed for the full-field game players will see in the Spring and Summers.

The final four weeks of the season will focus solely on competition. The kids will be organized into evenly matched teams for the season and play against other ALC teams within their Division in Sixes or 3v3 Speed Lacrosse. The perfect high-volume, fast paced style of lacrosse to play in the off-season!

Crossbar

All registrations, scheduling, and team communications will run through our Crossbar platform. Those who have participated with us through our Club teams, Sixes league, Clinics, and even our Men's Team, are already active in this platform. We strongly urge everyone to download the mobile app in the Apple Store or Google Play to stay fully plugged in!

Secondslide

Since it's inception in 2023, Augusta Lacrosse Club has used Secondslide to run it's Team Store. Secondslide is an organization started by lacrosse players and coaches with programs exactly like ours in mind. Our Corner Store never closes and is constantly updating with new ALC gear and lacrosse equipment. We have a great relationship with them, so if you ever have special requests or ideas for custom products let us know and I'm confident we can make it happen!

Cost for the Fall Season is $110.00.

This covers all 4 Workouts & Games (8 weeks total) & Full uniform.

Upon completing your registration you will receive an email with a link to our Private Player Gear Order Page. From there you will be able to submit your sizing and number order and Secondslide will ship your uniform(s) directly to you!
